Cystic Fibrosis SA is dedicated to providing you with up-to-date information and support during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic. Cystic Fibrosis has been identified as a high risk condition with those in our community being more vulnerable than the general public. Our main priority is to ensure the health and welfare of the cystic fibrosis community throughout this pandemic and as long as COVID-19 continues to be a public health concern.
We have compiled a list of resources from the local and national sources to help you with any general questions. For more specific information related to your personal health situation and CF, please contact your CF clinic team or call CFSA on (08) 8221 5595
Letter from CF Centre Directors
Cystic Fibrosis Australia shared a letter from the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Centre Directors. The Centre Directors have been discussing a unified response to questions from people with CF and their carers about the COVID-19 pandemic.

If your child is unwell with respiratory symptoms and requires a COVID-19 swab please do not attend a COVID clinic as they cannot ensure isolation for vulnerable patients.
Instead, please contact your GP or CF team for a pathology form to be faxed to a drive-through COVID-19 testing location of your choice. You will be contacted with an appointment time within 24 hours. Drive through locations across SA can be found at the following link. Click the button below

If you have lost your job or your income has been reduced due to the coronavirus pandemic, you might be tackling Centrelink for the first time, or the first time in a long time.
